Powerful Mixing Forces
Air or inert gas is released under large accumulator plates at the bottom of the tank. The consecutively timed pulses quickly rise in a controlled sequence to the top of the tank, forcing liquids of different viscosities to circulate from top to bottom creating a vertical flow pattern that rapidly involves the entire contents. Pulse size and sequence are automatically controlled for optimum mixing.

No Moving Parts
No motors, seals or rotating blades. Twenty four hours a day, day after day, year after year, the Pulsair System can complete literally millions of cycles with no supervision, no appreciable wear and no breakdowns. The only thing that moves is the product!

80% Less Mixing Time

Pulsairs are typically turned on when the tank to be mixed is partially full. By the time filling is completed, the tank is usually fully mixed and on spec. Faster mixing actually yields an increase in throughput without increasing tankage.

Air Consumption Drastically Reduced
Pulsair sequentially injects air or inert gas at controlled intervals, reducing total consumption. Compressed air use has been recorded at an amazing 1/40 of conventional air mixing methods. Less consumption means less compressor wear, lower repair costs and drastically reduced energy requirements.

Lower Mixing Temperatures
Pulsair's increased blending efficiencies reduce product heating requirements. Some users have eliminated heating coils in the tank altogether. Lower blending temperatures mean lower energy costs. Time is also saved on the packaging line because cool down periods are shorter, resulting in more effective production scheduling.
